An alien blasts a tube of slug-like things to Earth where they take over humans' bodies and send them on a murdering rampage. But the plat isn't really the point to this movie. It's really a loving homage to all the 50's B-flicks and the influential directors from the 70's and 80's. The students attend Corman University and last names like Cronenberg, Hooper, and Craven abound.
This movie is absolutely goofy and it works perfectly. I can understand why the fans pushed so hard to get this one released on DVD. Definitely worth the time, especially if you are a fan of the genre!
