Review of Night of the Comet (1984) by Clark P — 08 Apr 2008
It's Christmas 1984 and the entire world is caught up in comet frenzy. That frenzy is short lived when the comet wipes out most of mankind, much like it did with the dinosaurs billions of years ago.
Eighteen-year-old Reggie (Catherine Mary Stewart) and her younger sister Sam (Kelli Maroney) are of a handful of survivors. And so begins the premise for Thom Eberhardt's inventive cult classic sci-fi flick.
Boasting post-apocalyptic cannibal zombies, spirited leading ladies, a funky 80's beat and snappy dialogue, 'Night Of The Comet' amounts to a great deal of fun.
