One of my favourite 80's sci fi B movies, hell quite possibly one of my favourite movies ever!
A really great film about 2 Valley girls who wake one morning to find the worlds popualtion virtually wiped out by a passing comet but have to survive in a deserted LA populated by zombies. Kind of I am Legend meets Clueless!
This is great fun. It is about as 80's as it gets, from the fashions to the music. Great sequence of the girls shopping to the sound of Cyndi Lauper, all the while packing machine guns!
Cast are all excellent, features cult faves Mary Woronov and Kelli Maroney, and the dialouge is brilliant. Effects still look pretty good today. This is low budget so nothing too extravagant but the deserted LA is very effective.
I love this. Can't praise it high enough. Go watch.
