Very slow pacing without any interesting reason for doing so. Lots of purposeless shots of nature or people sitting around. Can be summed up in 3 or 4 short sentences. Maybe it's trying to be a glacially slow, painful film that marches on without regard for the viewer in order to heighten the sense of fatalism that permeates these particular kind of environmentalists.
