Review of Night Has Settled (2014) by Carlos L — 29 Apr 2015

An different, unusual, and adult film about a 13 year old growing up and dealing with the potential of his nanny passing away. He also smokes, makes out with girls, drinks alcohol (and gets drunk), masturbates, steals things, starts fights, and has sex.

I like that it's so adult at times, but it tends to focus a bit too much on the Nanny storyline and gets bogged down in melodrama too often. That said, this film is notable for being a more adult look at a young boy just starting to go through adolescence.
