Review of Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb (2014) by Xander K — 19 Apr 2015
Not critically acclaimed, but this isn't meant to be serious stuff. It's supposed to be a pleasant comedy appealing enough that you can share it with the family. Keeping that in mind, it succeeds at what it does pretty well.
It was an improvement over the last one certainly. and amidst the highjinx it does attempt to bring up the importance of an education and how crucial it is that we try to be good examples, lead the way for our children.
of course it was also a bit bittersweet to see robin williams play this role for the last time. kind of fitting that the storyline is completed in such a definite, satisfying way. it was the end of an era, and I myself was satisfied with how it turned out.
