Review of Night at the Museum (2006) by John O — 29 Dec 2012
Not the kind of movie I'd usually choose for a visit to the cinema, but whether good or bad this will now hold a special place in my heart as it was the first film my two young children got to see on the big screen.
Beyond that, it's enjoyable escapism with more than a hint of Jumanji, with some stand-out moments and humour (monkey-slapping) that detach it from the dysfunctional father motif that grates a little.
