Review of Night (2006) by John W — 13 Aug 2012

Indie vampire horror. Great premise (after a bust, emotionally adrift cop gets turned into a vamp, finds that he likes his new lifestyle but his partner won't give up on him and fights to get him back), the visuals and acting would have made for a decent flick.

Unfortunately, it's saddled with a terrible, confusing, banal story (and they pointlessly mess with some elements of vampire lore, I hate that) that weighs it down beyond redemption.
