Review of Nick of Time (1995) by Melissa G — 22 Aug 2010
Surprisingly entertaining thriller about a man roped into killing a political thriller. The catch is that, from a certain spot in the movie, it runs in real time. The acting is good and the plot just inside believable enough to make it worthwhile to watch. If the director had reined in Walken, this could have been even better.
As an interesting aside, I first saw this in the theater with a good friend. We happened to go to a showing that started about the same time as the fictional story of the movie. Since the movie takes place in real time, we always knew basically (within a few minutes) of what time it actually was.
