Review of Nick of Time (1995) by Elaine M — 17 Jun 2008
Johnny Depp stars in a painfully unoriginal real-time thriller, that 24 makes look like absolute garbage. Ultimately this movie is yet more evidence that Depp is no good as an 'every-day guy', and that Christopher Walken is the best 'bad-guy' actor alive.
The first half of the movie is quite tedious as it basically consists of Depp trying time and time again to tell someone what's going on, and Walken telling him off for it. Fortunately it picks up later on.
I'd say definitely worth watching but it's really nothing special and you're far better off with Bauer...
