Review of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008) by Trystan C — 23 Jul 2012
Michael Cera is being typecast. So it's lucky that this movie appeared early in the process, otherwise I'm sure it would have been considered shit by critics and fans alike. The reason it wasn't is because Michael Cera is still charming and hilarious as the emo-sensitive artist boy.
This movie has a fun plot, and Cera's scenes with Kat Dennings are genuinely funny. It's only when the supporting characters barge in that you're reminded this movie was engineered to strike "Juno"'s iron while it's hot.
