Review of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008) by Bill C — 10 Sep 2010
I finally have a reason to go back to New York, its to find Fluffy. N&N experience is vastly different then my own Midwest upbringing, but harkens back to the last picture I saw that made New York seem the least bit entertaining Martin Scorsese 1/3 of?New York stories?.
Zoe grew up and became Norah. To be a characters in Life without Zoe is the only way I could survive in the east coast climate. After twenty years I still don?t get the geek sheik genre. Probably says more about me than them.
Michael Cera seems admirable but not likable, same feeling I had in Juno. Norah on the other hand is immensely likable and exceptionally well written and acted. Brings back memories of missed opportunities where I?ve taken the wrong route chasing a fantasy chika and passing up a soul mate on the way.
Norah?s all that, she looks like Liv Tyler with allot more depth and much more addressable. Definitely worth a watch no meaning of life but level headed level of sentimentality.
