Review of Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008) by Megan G — 24 Oct 2010
Maybe its a tell tale sign of my age that in about the first hour of this film I felt too old to get into this young comedy. The cameo by a certain SNL cast member helps a bit in anchoring me in something familiar, but even then he is a product of the current generation rather than representing the days of mine.
That said, as the film goes on I was able to get into it. The premise is decent with the whole indie scene, bonded by musical tastes sort of thing. Feels very casual, which this film really is over all.
Not too bad in the end. I am sure it would be enjoyed more by those who are closer to their age though admittedly (unashamedly).
