Review of Nicholas and Alexandra (1971) by Victor L — 21 Jan 2011
It's an entertaining movie although you already know what the end will be before you actually watch it. Anyway, the production is sensational: the costumes, art direction, cinematography, etc. The only problem I see with this story is that the first two hours are underdeveloped.
Rasputin isn't as important as he really was and the reason why Russians hated his czar too much isn't really well stated here.
