Marilyn at the height of her fame, just previous to "gentlemen prefer blondes" and other greats. here she's a femme fatale. playing the bad girl isn't often a part of her repertoire we get to see.

the film itself is a bit slow and max showalters ray cutler reminds me of wiliam h. macys jerry lundegaard from fargo. that whole geeky nature. bit of action at the end. the debatable part is whether anyone would remember niagara if marilyn wasn't in it.
