Review of Niagara (2013) by Robert C — 03 Jan 2011
"Listen, for a dress like that, you gotta start laying plans when you're about 13.".
For those who have heard the legend that when Marilyn Monroe is on screen, you can't take your eyes off of her and don't believe it, this is your starter movie. It's an oxymoron in the sense that it's a technicolor film noir and Marilyn Monroe's luminosity outshines everything else in this film including some great cinematography of Niagara Falls. Jean Peters and Joseph Cotten give great performances and Marilyn Monroe gives a more than credible interpretation of a femme fatale. It's a very good thriller with few weak points.
