As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said "A foolish consistency is the hob-goblin of little minds." Or something. And this film consistently disappoints by over-using this quote, and underusing Philip Seymor Hoffman.
Hope Davis is good, as are some minor characters, but the film is dissapointing overall.
