Review of Next of Kin (1989) by Mark G — 30 May 2009
Dear oh dear. Where did it all go wrong? This film should have been really good. Note the word 'should'. A surprising cast, including a younger Ben Stiller, but not even the cast could make this one track film exciting enough.
Mind you, Neeson was pretty bad here. Remember that joke in 'Family Guy' about Neeson acting as a cowboy? Yeah, exactly. This is one of the few films that I turned off before the end. I couldn't take it anymore.
One word: avoid.
