Review of Next Gen (2018) by A D — 10 Sep 2018
A movie that is complex enough for the next generation for sure. Back and forth with characters resolving deeply rooted personal issues while life throws a storm at them. Some may say that it was "overloaded" but frankly I think it reflected the world we deal with on a accurate level.
There was one part that followed the Hollywood "required criteria" and the dialog became painfully predictable, but we've also come to expect that lack of creativity around discussing emotional issues.
I was pleasantly surprised. A deep movie with much going on and the characters being deep and unique.
