The film fuses some less well-known elements of tangential Avengers continuity to form something seemingly "new", but which misses a lot of easy opportunities for awesomeness. Not bad, but it CLEARLY could have been a lot better - I think even small children would be asking "Why didn't they do that THIS way?" about the film's production.
