Review of Next (2007) by Pete S — 11 May 2012
It has a decent supporting cast. It has an interesting premise. It has a mildly entertaining beginning. It has international terrorists. It has a love story. But somehow NONE of these add up to a decent film.
The story is dumb, the "power" is inconsistent, the love story is creepy, the bad guys are ridiculous, the threat is never adequately explained, and the whole thing plays out like an episode of a bad tv show.
How is it that no one involved could foresee this was a dud? Do not waste your time with this one. Next!
