Review of Next! (1903) by Daniele C — 12 Oct 2009
Kind of dumb. Premise is intriguing but after the first sequence of Cage eluding captors because he knows what they will do (done better and not as played out in Minority Report, another Dick adaptation) the ability becomes kind of old hat.
Except, there's even a problem with that because after they take pains to establish exactly what he can and cannot do, then they start messing with that. Add weak dialog and questionable casting and some really bad CGI (car tumbling looked good but the train was terrible) and you have a less than memorable movie of the week.
What's with Cage and these destiny movies, anyway?
