If I was a ten year old girl Iâ??d be buckling at the knees for all these cheery, New Yorky rapscallions taking down corporate bigwig Pulitzerâ?¦but Iâ??m not. Iâ??m a 30 year old boy. And I donâ??t buckleâ??okay, thatâ??s a lieâ??I can still swoon for Christian Bale even if heâ??s just a wee lad and awkwardly singing through that Santa Fe tune.
Hey, heâ??s a helluva dancer hoppinâ?? and prancinâ?? his heart out. Itâ??s actually rather cool to see Gravel Voiced Batman hop and prance. And it also has a singing and dancing Bill Pullman and that definitely fulfilled a lifelong movie dream of mine.
Newsies is for the 10 year old girl in you. VF.
