Review of Newsies (1992) by Nathaniel C — 10 Nov 2009

Well this was another school movie I watched many a year ago and have recently gone back to it well it sucks and I thought it sucked back then. First off the story is enough to give it a 20% saying that because it pulls some things off from what happened a long time ago and it does work with the movie accept when there singing and dancing which is the almost the whole entire damn movie.

now the acting was good enough to bring it up 30 more points because the acting was actually not that bad I mean Bill Pullman in my opinion and he actually does a good job in this movie, but the singing from all of these people is just bad and that brings the acting down a lot because the casting director should have actually hired people who could act and sing.

Now the songs are also very bad and not well written so that takes away 10 points. In the end its an OK children flick with a history lesson but has bad singing and music. The final score is 40%.
