Meh, I like musicals but the music in this just wasn't catchy in the least. The story was great in between the songs, and I love Christian Bale but it's obvious he's not a dancer in this.
One can't help but wonder why the casting director hired so many beyond normal muscular "teenagers" to be bare chested, it was almost uncomfortable at points.; not to mention Snyder's unhealthy predatory pedophile-esque obsession with Jack Kelly. Overall, it's ok but most kids would probably be bored throughout the film.
