Usually, I hate musicals as a rule because the music almost always gets in the way of the story. This was the first one I actually liked, and there haven't been many since. This is a favorite mostly for sentimental reasons: I watched it dozens of times as a kid and even listened to the soundtrack! It ends up being a fun story to get lost in.
