Review of Newsies (1992) by Matt B — 22 Jan 2012
It's got a great hook, but eventually the fish gets away and gets eaten by a shark. In fact, I only remember seeing the first twenty minutes of the film before I had to struggle to pay attention and eventually have the memory completely evaporate from my head.
It is refreshing, however, to hear Bale's New York accent and not the gruffy, but well executed, Batman voice. His acting is also very good and keeps the movie going for the time that it can.
