The birth of a new genre ? Woke Westerns ? No that probably started with Kelly Reichardt , but at least hers have some ideas , this Hanks vehicle is just anachronisms , present day popular hipster sentiments about how media should be pure , injected into the Wild West.
They didn't call it wild because it was woke ..
