Review of New York, New York (1977) by Joey D — 06 May 2008
I enjoyed this movie. It has great jazz music in it plus De Niro in his prime. Can't say I'm too fond of Liza Minnelli (perhaps her questionable lifestyle of recent years tainted my opinion of her that wouldn't have existed had I seen the movie when it came out).
I found it to be a little longer than it needed to be, but overall it's a great movie. And it gave birth to one of the best songs in Sinatra's catalog, so how can you go wrong with that?
