Review of New York, I Love You (2008) by Kan T — 09 Apr 2010
Yes yes NY is where it happens, where multiple cultures cross paths, where urban fairy tales come true. But certain episodes and their intertwinement sometimes were just too forced. Not all actors were convincing, or all stories were interesting, and it definitely shouldn't have required 11 directors to create.
Nevertheless, thumbs up for Shekhar Kapur with a magnificent, imaginary episode where Shia LaBeouf really acted and Julie Christie was good as always.
