Review of New York, I Love You (2008) by Thomas M — 16 May 2010
Each short was shot in a day and edited in a week. Around half the shorts are duds, but once they stream together a faint groove emerges. Lust is addressed much more than love, and the shorts would've been better if they tried to just be cute and happy-go-lucky (like Brett Ratner's short) instead of deep and serious (including the fedoras and constant smoking).
