Review of New York, I Love You (2008) by Collin R — 24 Jun 2010
40% of the critics? wtf? the movie ain't the best, but it was definitely a good movie with many stories that capture your attention. Located in New York city, the movie revolves around love and relationship. Some of them are pretty memorable like; worth mention Shia Labeouf and Julie Christie duo was such a great scene, heart-breaking. Maggie Q and Ethan hawke add humor in this film, where else Orlando and Christina Ricci scene, although short was sweet.
Another great segment was Natalie Portman's directing debut, story about father-daughter relationship, that really hit the bulls eye. Though I still prefer Love Actually but this is a rare interconnected love stories that is worth to watch once.
6/10.
