Review of New York, I Love You (2008) by Anna Margarethe O — 10 Oct 2010

This film comprised too many short snippets of stories each directed and written by different people (some of which were weird stories, some of which were interesting/slice of life stories) and I don't think it all "gelled" together into one film.

I think it would've have been more interesting to get 2 or 3 of those short snippets of stories and develop them with something of a beginning and an end into 1 film (the 3 or 4 stories I'd have liked to pick and develop into 1 film are: the one starring Chris Cooper and Robin Wright Penn; the one starring Bradley Cooper; the one starring Eli Wallach and Chloris Leachman; the one starring Maggie Q and Ethan Hawke).
