Review of New York, I Love You (2008) by Hannah H — 17 Jan 2011
This movie is labelled as the Americanized version of "Paris, Je T'Aime," but "Paris, Je T'Aime" offers more variety in the subject matter and sentiments of love stories as well as more tender and deep representations of characters.
"New York, I Love You," in most cases, simply emphasizes human folly and the superficiality of love. This movie also revisits many of its plots throughout, which detracts from the power of the glimpse that the audience is given into daily acts of tragic, passionate love.
