Seamlessly merges the Rockumentary with a Spiritual saga. My History of American Pop Culture professor would say something here about the Rock Concert as a reincarnation of the primal shamanistic journey.
I'm sure it applies. Plus there is absolutely no way to watch this and not deeply love the simple man Arthur "Killer" Kane. Touches a personal note with his conversion to the LDS faith.
