Review of New Year's Eve (2011) by Victor C — 03 May 2012
It was not good nor bad, it was regular. Full review now! - C'est vendredi, le 4 mai 2012.
Plot, Acting & Music: The story-telling is basically what we see or read on the news or have seen or heard or passed in New Years Eve. It's not a cliche, since it'ss what humans often do in NY (not the world, aww, to bad. Next time we wil ask to see the same things on another country movie instead of NY, USA).
About the acting...I was not surprised for Lea Michele or Ashton (something told me she was going to do what she does on Glee). Abigail has grown up a lot, but the make up artist maybe ruined her on this movie. Still, she was awesome on her role, same Jessica as Tess. Bon Jovi...the legend! As Jensen, meh, not bad for a singer, since he is not an actor with skills, and by that I mean real actor skills. Josh and De Niro were also amazing. So many great actors and actresses on a same film....stars for everyones effort (including the kid who is no kid no more from Wizards of Waverly Place).
The music was not bad either. Anyway, 3 stars of 5. Enjoy and HASTA LA PROXIMA MON AMIS! CHAO! AU REVOIR!!!
