Occasionally charming, but mostly as shallow and cliched as Hollywood films get. The few moments that work (a.k.a. aren't completely eye-roll inducing) aren't enough to justify the 2+ hour runtime.
However, the committed performances from Pfeiffer, Breslin and Vergara were enough to keep me from changing the channel.
