Review of New World (2013) by Bryant P — 07 Jan 2018
Yet another one. While Hollywood is obsessed with hero, Korea is obsessed with male-dominated criminals. I do have to give that it deviates from your typical undercover cop-hero movie in the end. But other than that, it follows the formula.
The character dynamics and interactions are what make this movie an enjoyable film nonetheless. I can enjoy any hero film so long as they hit the mark and still finds itself to be a little different from one another.
Same goes for crime-related genre. This is your typical noir, and is good for a one-time.
