Review of New Jack City (1991) by Alex K — 04 Oct 2007

A solid gang movie, not so much a warning tale against the dangers of crack as it is a tale of vengeance and power with some crack heads thrown in for good measure. The soundtrack is nice, the performances are gangsta as fuck, the one liners are awesome ("i wanna kill you so bad my dick is hard") and even when it's over the top, it's a fun as hell movie.
