There was a time when I must have known this movie by heart, word for word. I cannot overemphasize how huge this movie was for young brothers & sisters of my age. Every single rapper today who's talking about being a drug dealer in their music ought to be paying Wesley Snipes royalty checks for aping his Nino Brown persona.
The list of catchphrases that this movie spawned is endless. And careers? Ice-T, Chris Rock, Wes, Allen Payne, Mario - they all owe their careers to this movie. And let's not even get into the soundtrack! Banging!
