Review of New Jack City (1991) by Orlando N — 29 Dec 2009
Cool.I don't know if I would call it a classic, but it is definitely worth watching. What makes this gangster flick stand out is the authenticity not usually found in more recent urban crime movies.
Everything from the dialogue, to the locations feel like you are in the city of Harlem during the crack epidemic.Noteworthy performances from Ice-T, Rock, and especially Snipes who serves as a better than average movie villain here.
