Review of New in Town (2009) by Camille P — 12 Jul 2009
The only reason that I watched this was because it filmed here in Winnipeg and I worked on the scouting. With that out of the way, this was really bad, even by rom-com standards, with ZERO chemistry between the leads and Zellweger's plastic face being incapable of emoting or even smiling properly.
Also, the whole funny accent thing was overplayed and all the jokes were either based around the cold or the funny ways of small town folk. Ugh.
