I found the film to be fresh, funny and charming in an old-fashioned way. No sex, nudity or foul language here. I laughed, I felt close to the city and found myself wanting to move to the mid-west.

It definitely could have done with more laughs, but what it lacks in that department it makes up for in charm.

I am also in the minority, but I liked this film a lot. Much better than "He's Just Not That Into You". Blech!
