Review of Neverwas (2005) by Anya S — 01 Jul 2011
I have been on a run of half ass films with rushed story lines; this broke the chain, and I could not be more great full. The story of Neverwas is filled with heart and mystery. What I found to make this piece better than most was the story within the story even before the movie really got on all I wanted to do after the movie was read this children's book.
If that story was uninteresting I do not believe that the movie would have succeeded. When I reached the end I was amazed at the castle in the forest; there was a lot of work and planning that went into it, I loved all of the details and the feeling of do-it-yourself.
This movie is for those that enjoy a good phycological mystery and or has at one point or another lived in their imagination.
