Review of Never Say Never Again (1983) by Kevin H — 06 Apr 2009
A somewhat muddled mess, Never Say Never Again features Sean Connery returning to the role of Bond and remaking Thunderball. If you don't know the soap opera story involved with the production of this film you can consider yourself lucky as it is an absolute mess of studio backstabbing and lies.
Regardless of that, this film does have several good moments including the Domination video game sequence and the finale. Carrera and Basinger are good Bond girls and Brandauer gives a great performance as Largo.
Connery kicks it into gear even though he is up there in years. A good, but not great movie.
