Review of Never Let Me Go (2010) by Miki L — 02 May 2013
Wonderfully made. Exceptionally acted. Brilliantly adapted for the screen. This may be the first time that I'm going to say this, but I think it's even better than the novel - I don't quite remember the latter leaving this much of an impact on me.
Probably because the book didn't have Carey Mulligan and her sad, sad eyes. Sure, it was depressing, but it also made me very appreciative of the life I've got, which is a pretty good feeling to be left with.
