It may not have had the same flaw as other book adaptations that just make a straight up copy of the source material like Watchmen and The Great Gatsby, but that doesn't excuse it from the fact that it moves too fast and loses the true beauty and magnificence of the novel while it tries to accurately portray the story in an overused structural manner.
It may have accurately depicted the events of the masterful book, but at what cost?
