If you are tempted to rent this movie because it stars the woman from the TV series, "The Killing" (the best murder mystery/suspense TV series I've ever seen), if you're tempted to rent this movie for any reason in fact, please do not. It is awful. At first I thought, This movie is starting off kind of slow, then an hour had gone by and still almost nothing had happened. Also, the sound is poorly done technically. The star has a voice that is kind of hard to hear sometimes; she mumbles a bit, which they handled well in The Killing. But in this movie when she talks, sometimes I could not tell what she was saying. Maybe if you have a good sound system hooked to your TV. But I just have the speakers that came with my TV. I turned the movie off after the first hour, though I skipped ahead to a few points first to see if eventually something would happen. I didn't pick up anything that seemed worthwhile, so I just quit.

This appears to be an attempt to make an 'art' movie and to call it a thriller. There is nothing thrilling or remotely suspenseful about this movie. Nor is there anything interesting about it. It's not the fault of the actors. It's the story. The script just has no pacing; nothing ever really seems to develop.
