Review of Never Die Alone (2004) by Winston M — 12 Jul 2007
Film Noir has become a parody, and it's impossible to take it seriously. This terribly acted movie drives home its ideas and imagery with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer to the kneecaps. I wanted violent mindless fun, and got pretentious grandstanding that ultimately rings completely hollow.
Avoid.
