Review of Never Been Kissed (1999) by Kevin C — 01 Nov 2010
Review #424 Romantic-Comedy, High School.
David Arquette, or Drew Barrymoore? John C. Rielly or Molly Shannon? Who was the funniest part of this movie?
David Arquette. His lackluster, stupid, childish charm was pitch-perfect for this film. He was absolutely retarted.(In this film, and for his role, that was a good thing.) Drew Barrymoore was likeable, but even Molly Shannons' slutty character was more enjoyable, and relatable. John C. Rielly was pretty much worthless. That's being nice.
Too many unrelatale characters. Constant stereotyping. Also an unorignal story, and too many characters that you do not care about. AT ALL!
"Never Been Kissed was cute, funny, romatic, and sweet, but also Unoriginal with a flaccid story, and weak plotting. Arquette's funny, and uncanny performance makes Never Been Kissed, not Never Been Heard Of".
Trust me. There are plenty of other films out there that are FAR worser.
